Congratulations!

Creating a ceremony with couples is an honour and a joy. Placing your love story at the heart of the ceremony is the key to capturing the perfect day, whether you’re tying your knot for the first time or reaffirming your commitment and love with a renewal of vows ceremony.

“We are so happy we chose Jeremy, and can’t recommend him enough”.

The Ceremony

Using a celebrant gives you the freedom and flexibility to take your ceremony on its own path,  reflecting your unique story, personalised to you, with no restrictions whatsoever … what you want, how you want, where you want.

Working with you, I will design beautiful weddings, civil partnerships and vow renewal ceremonies, creating a magical day filled with emotion and lasting memories for you and your guests.

Your day will be romantic and memorable with all your own personal touches and be exactly as you choose. I will help you to create loving and heartfelt promises or vows; these can include anything you’d like; they can be emotional, different, creative, fun or serious. I can incorporate rituals, symbolic, spiritual or religious elements if you so wish … or not, the choice is yours. You may want to involve family members, friends or beloved pets, along with poignant readings, poetry, pictures and music.

A Cotswold Ceremony

If you need help choosing venues, florists, photographers, and other wedding specialists in the Cotswolds, I can help. As a Celebrant who has lived and worked in the Cotswolds for most of my life, I know and have worked with a wide range of suppliers across the area that I can recommend, whether in Moreton-in-Marsh or Bath.

“Jeremy had a genuine commitment to making our ceremony uniquely tailored to us.”

Together, we will create a ceremony that reflects your story, the true meaning of your love and values, whether it is a tiny and intimate affair or on a grand scale.

As your celebrant, you get my undivided attention on the day, I only ever perform one service in a day. I am there for you, so it’s ok if you’re a bit late arriving! Your ceremony can be any day of the week, day or night, sunrise or sunset.

The Venue

One of the best things about a celebrant wedding is that they are not bound by any government regulations, allowing you to hold your ceremony in truly innovative and inspiring locations, anywhere you like (providing you have the owner’s permission) – on a mountain, in a meadow or garden, in the woods, on a beach, under a tree, where you first met, at home or abroad, giving you complete flexibility to find the perfect place that means something to you.

Most of my clients hold their wedding ceremonies in the beautiful Cotswolds, but I am happy to work wherever you want me to – whether that’s in the UK or abroad.

“A true professional, who put us at ease… extraordinary attention to detail. His expertise was evident.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions below are some of the most commonly asked questions. If you need more information, please contact me.

Is the ceremony legally binding?

Celebrant-led ceremonies are not legally binding. You will need to have a legal ceremony at your local registry office – this can be very cheap and only requires two witnesses. Of course, if you want to make it a bigger event, you can!

However, because it isn’t legally binding, you are able to customise the ceremony in ways that would not otherwise be possible, as well as holding it in the venue of your choice. Registry office and church weddings have to follow a particular formula – with a celebrant-led ceremony, you can customise it to your heart’s content.

Where can I have the ceremony?

Anywhere you want! You will need the landowner’s permission, and may want to bear in mind that a ceremony in a remote and wild location will probably need to be simpler, just for logistical reasons.

I will travel anywhere in the world for your ceremony (war zones excepted!), but bear in mind that if it is more than 20 miles from Cheltenham, additional costs for mileage will be incurred. If you want me to lead a wedding ceremony outside the UK there will be additional costs for flights and accomodation.

Do we sign anything in the ceremony?

Whilst there is no formal registry to sign, the Signing of the Register is an important part of the ceremony and photo opportunity for many people. I can provide a certificate for you to sign as part of the ceremony.
